And if he is, is it on purpose? Or, is he just not a good coach? Is he ignorant to all of the talent we have, and refuses to venture outside of the box when it comes to the offense? Who calls the plays, Miles or Crowton? And, who should call the plays?

How many of you predicted (on each possession) that on first down Charles Scott was going up the middle? Or, in the Pistol formation JJ would run an option to the short side of the field?

I can't seem to get a legitimate answer for any of these...

We are setting up the DCs for all the other BIG games we have to play.

When we run one to the wides side, they will be totally faked out and we score every time. Like taking candy from a baby.

Think, man - THINK !!!!

Yes!

Les is coddling his qb. He has good reason to but it almost cost us against Miss. St. and will cost us against Georgia if he doesn't come out passing none stop on the first 2 or 3 possesions and then and only then start getting balance.

Of course there is always the chance Ga. coaches are stupid and won't stack people in the box.

Willie Martinez has shown potential to be very Maleveto, but I don't think he's that dumb

And when RS comes in they'll fake the run and Lafell is wide open for the 6.

I think you are fooled. I think we have seen all we are going to see.

This is obviously going to happen, but it doesn't need to be a trump card play. It could start working right now if he ran 50% of the time and passed the other 50%. In fact, that would most likely open up some holes to run.

Hold them back for what. He should have lost the game against Mississippi St. If you lose a game to a much more inferior opponent just for the sake of not showing you game plan to your better opponents does that make sense? Hell no!!!! We have the best pool of talent in the country. They should have blown out everyone we have played so far. Something is wrong with this team. It is not the players. This team reminds me of the Mike Archer years. He lost control of the team and good players played bad.

I hope that's what it is. Before last week, I might have even believed it. But last week was way too close -- if he had something in the bag, he'd have used it.

But if that is true, and a 66 year old (me) who has never played football can see what is going to happen, then surely the opposing team can too. The saying "if you do the same thing over and over under the same circumstances, then you shouldn't expect a different result" certainly applies here. And no matter how many times all the guys with a zillion posts call you stupid, the truth is still the truth.

yes it is on purpose, jefferson has no pass protection so les and crowton are limited as to what plays they can call. Saturday they were trying to give the def some time to rest late in the game, hence the play calling, didn't work because we couldnt move the ball running or passing.

Definitely. I wish he'd go back to calling the plays like he did in 07. That was awesome. He was an offensive genius that year.

Btw, why are paying Crowton so much money when Miles runs the O? Waste of money if you ask me.

I don't think he is holding back a portion of the playbook; he is definitely not letting guys like RS and Jefferson loose like he should.
Miles is showing a very conservative nature that I saw from old Dinardo in year 5. Don't get me wrong I think Miles is a far superior coach, hence the 4-0 record, but I think he is being very big Tenish
