Charles Scott
Trindon
Keiland
JJ
Shep
Lafell
Dickson
Our head coach was a long time OC and designer of offenses.
Our OC is among the most respected in college football.

I am flummoxed.
Befuddled.
I can not wrap my head around this futility.
I can not make any sense of what my eyes are seeing.
I spent the offseason looking forward to our pinball offense that would score 42 pts per game.
I just don't get it.

Would somebody please assure me this is correctable, because if not it is THE biggest disconnect between offensive talent and offensive results in LSU history.

It's the OL. They are playing horrible. If we can't get a running game going, we are pretty much SOL on offense to put up big numbers. we can't even keep consistent long drives. That is the issue.

We'll be better next year after most of those guys are gone.

it is correctable....sync up between JJ and his world class recievers will spread the field, reduce blitzes and open the running game....JJ is still a little off target and also is not working through his progression...once that is fixed, we will be fine....

that said, it is kinda getting to be time to fix this shite...

Its called that we have a bad OL combined with terrible coaching. I am not surprised. This is Les Miles brand of football.

correctable?
We have 6 days, big balls, a Wizard for an OC, the fastest man in football runnning short field reverses, 3 good quarterbacks (1 of which is trusted passing), an offensive line that looks like they can't break wind, and a tight end that's ignored by all.
Thank God its Georgia...we've still got a chance.
Oh, and they've seen our secret weapon.
We got a shot?

Ive been confused for 4 years trying to figure out why everyone thinks Trindon, is such a big time player. Its nice he's fast but what has he actually dominated at his time at LSU (besides the track field) that he needs to be getting the ball more often. I agree on this post that Keiland and Charles are two nice backs and Lafell, has NFL potential. But we dont know nothing bout Shep and JJ yet. Ive always felt dickson is over-rated in terms of LSU tight ends (laflour, royal, etc ).. Obviously, something is not clicking With Miles and Crowton. If crowton wants to run the "spread" then why we recruit Jarret Lee, Chris Garret, and now Zach Lee. Why we want backs like Williams, Scott, Ridley..something isnt right. Im basing this on "spreads" like Michigan, Florida, West Virginia, and Oregon. Obviously we dont have the Personel to run this, so something has to change between Head Coach and Offensive Coordinator

Half of our offensive yards came on 3 plays yesterday. That kinda bothers me

And how the hell is Alabama, with a rebuilt offensive line and a new quarterback, ranked 8th nationally in total offense?

And Georgia's 95th in total defense. They were 108th last week. We'll be able to put up points. I'm confident for next week.

Yes, everybody, we realize the OL sucks. That does not mean we have to run to the short side every time we run the fricking ball. The OL sucks but so does the play calling!

Are yards more important than points?
Are stats more important than wins?
