TV last night saidTebow had a slight concussion against UT, then last night he had a severe concussion. If he plays against us he stands a fair chance of gettting reallly messed up . Knowing UM I am sure he will play. I really don't want a horrible incident in tiger stadium .

I'd say he's pretty safe. Our D-line can barely get to the QB anyway.

dude, MS State's qb took some monster, direct hits yesterday. maybe not a sack, but his world was rocked a few times.

I have worked on a surgical ICU unit for 4 years....If Tebow indeed did play with a slight concussion last week after the UT game and today is experiencing a severe concussion..........URBAN MEYER NND HIS MEDICAL STAFF SHOULD BE SUED AND FIRED!
Traumatic brain injurys like Tebows are tricky and dangerous. Exposing Tebow to more trauma this week when he was hurt last week would likely put Tebow at risk for the rest of the season so either Brantley isn't as good as everyone at Florida thinks he is or Florida's coaches are extremely incompetent.
Now 2 weeks is more than enough time to recover from a severe concussion but now that Tebow has had 2 of the them, you can bet your bottom dollar he won't be able to withstand the pounding he did before the trauma the rest of the season and will be more suceptible to another in the future.

Why is everyone so excited over Tebow's injury. I guess most don't believe we can beat Florida unless Tebow doesn't play. Have we fallen that far down?
What happened to 'Anytime, Anyplace, Anywhere'!

I'm not excited at all for Tebow, I just read that his coaches may have played him with a slight concussion in last weeks game......that's fricking pathetic.
Secondly, I always dreamed of Tebow being the Greatest of All time to never win in Tiger Stadium so no.

This guy wants a shot, even if its Tebow going out for a pass, he will crush him!

If he is breathing Tebow WILL PLAY against LSU.
Meyer's recent behavior of playing Demps with 104 fever against UT, and playing Tebow last night when he had the flu shows that he doesn't care one iota about the health of his players unless if affects HIS chance to win a game.
This attitude is no different than most any other coaches at the high school and especially college level, who although they say they are looking out for the kids future, really don't care what kind, IF ANY, career the kid has at the next level.
I Really do hope that Tim Tebow fully recovers and is at full strentgh and ability ON OCTOBER 11th and beyond, NOT BEFORE THEN.

According to "reports" the CT of the head was negative, Im sure a neurosurgeon reviewed the case and not just the ICU radiologist. He has two weeks to recover. It usually takes about 6-7 days to feel "normal" and strong again following a concussion so he should be ready for LSU.

Doc I'm not talking about yesterdays CT report......what about the one at Tennesse that they probably never did......when he and Berry met
You know and I know your susceptibly to a head trauma makes you MORE susceptible to another for many months.

i don't know if "excited" is the word, but this injury could change the scope of college football the way Tom Brady's injury did last year and Garnett getting hurt changed the NBA

I want Tebow healthy. That way when they hang 50 on us, it won't seem quite as bad cause it was Tebow and not a guy making his first career start.

Alem had some brutal hits on Moo State's QB yesterday.

Yes, I know. It was a joke. I did watch the game...albeit on a small ESPN360 video screen.
I have 4 flat panel HDTVs and it sucks having to watch the Tigers on my laptop. Thanks, ESPN-SEC deal. I'd rather have Gameplan back.

Most when he didn't have the ball and vertually 0 when the RB had the ball. He is good pass rusher but a liability against the run.

The way his head and neck buckled, he's lucky that he didn't suffer a cervical spine injury in addition to the concussion.
