WOW! '79 was my freshman year at LSU. Takes me back.

I like that schedule, though, only six conference games is strange - plus no Auburn or Arkansas.

Sept 29th, described as the best game ever played in Tiger Stadium!!!
(97 FLA may take it's place IMO)

Ark was not SEC in 79.

Don't think Arkansas was a part of the SEC yet.

We didn't play Auburn regularly until the SEC went to 12 teams and 2 divisions. Same for Arkansas--they were in the Southwest Conference until they joined the SEC with South Carolina.

And we almost never played Auburn, for some reason.

But, three different major conference schools (yes, Rice was back then) + Fla. State, who was just coming onto the scenes as a football power, and, of course Tulane.
I miss those days of scheduling.

Not going to lie, that is pretty awesome.
Also, did anyone else notice that the phone number at the bottom of the poster has a 504 area code?

If you are talking actual game used, thats about it, besides the auctions on LSUsports.net. I got two Katrina jerseys off there.
You can also get them at Fan Day some times.
