or coaching?

the OL is the prime, "this is where les is an expert and he doesn't care about stars argh!" talk area

well, our OL blows

t-bob is not big or talented enough right now to play C in the sun belt

barksdale looks lost in the passing game this year

ci black looks like he's taken a step back from his freaking 2006 form

our Gs are not really good at anything

It's a good question with a simple answer.

Coaching.

Hitt is a sun belt caliber OL

Hebert isnt big or strong enough yet

jury is still out on Dworayck.

Over the past 5 or so years say, how many O-linemen has LSU lost due to transfer or quitting/kicked off the team?

Stud may need to be replaced, but really we have just had so much attrition over the years and have lost some big time talent.

I don't know to be honest--they aren't playing well as a unit--that is for damn sure.

Every single guy from the 2006 class and I think 3 from the 2005 class.

1 already from the 2009 class.

Miles has done a pathetic job with our lines.

OL needs to be a top priority in recruiting.. I'm in favor of recruiting 4-5 OL and DL every single class haha. They're easily the most important positions barring QB.

1 position. LG

we've lost a bunch of OTs, which hasn't affected us since 2007. black/barksdale have held it down

so we recruited 5 guards in 05??? Your an imbicile. Those OTs in 05 would have pushed Black and Barksdale to be better. I really don't know who is worse, you or outsideroach

no

the only position that has been up for competition has been LG. attrition only potentially affected that slot

no C attrition, and t-bob has been the heir apparent since recruitment
RG has been hitt since 2007
LT has been black since 2006
RT has been barksdale since 2007/08

show me where attrition has affected our OL THIS YEAR except potentially LG

why? once you get a starting spot you have to absolutely suck to lose it under les

and even then, its' up for debate (see our 3 interior postiions)

Problems developing talent. Not sure initial talent is, most of these kids were highly recruited by other schools. Seems players at LSU come in highly touted and never develop from there.

Flame if you wish, but it looks to be a pattern developing.

i think 2 were highly-regarded

t-bob and barksdale

i think the rest were 2/3 stars (i think hitt may have been a 2, but i might be wrong)

Hitt was a 4-star on Scout and 3-star on Rivals.
