LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Harrison Ford might have four "Indiana Jones" movies under his belt and is almost approaching age 70, but the actor says he would be ready to crack the iconic archaeologist's whip again and sport the trademark fedora in another sequel.

After watching Crystal Skull, I'm not sure if I'm willing to give a fifth Indiana Jones the benefit of the doubt.

If I see any CGI gophers, I'm walking out.

Would this be the passing the torch movie where the franchise gets handed off to Shia, because that would be awesome to see him do a whole bunch of Indian Jones' Son movies :killmenow:

For all the complainers, if people would stop paying to see this garbage it would go away:

I can see this happening for number 4, because people may have been snuckered... but as the saying goes "Fool me once, shame on you; Fool me twice, shame on me"

So many people including me LOVED the first three, so when the 4th came out after years of delay, everyone wanted to see it, thus the large numbers...

I dont think a 5th would have that big of numbers, but it might. Alot of people like epic adventure movies with crazy arse old mythology that seems to come true, no matter how good or bad they think it is.

I don't wanna see lebeouf taking over a great francfise like that, he is a dorky kid, if it does he will kill it IMO, you can have him.

I think it has the potential to do better, actually. But that depends on the story...if word of mouth gets out that it's just as bad or worse than 4, then it likely won't. But if the WoM is good for it, then it could gain steam and make more money. Cuz let's face it, tons of people will see it because of the franchise alone (I know I would).

Exactly--I'd see it either way, and I don't think Speilberg/Lucas could screw up that bad again.

(Crystal Skull did suck, and I had to see it for myself before believing everyone else.)

I think to this day the original "Raiders" may be the most fun I've ever had in a movie theater (other than my senior year in high school in the balcony with that brunette in my English class..).

They should have stopped with "Raiders".

It's still my favorite movie of all time, and none of the sequels has even approached it in terms of greatness.
