I'm bringing my 3 yr old (almost 4) son to his 1st LSU game. I've been to games all my life, but its been a long time since I've viewed one through the eyes of a youngster.

Figured we'd go see Mike, watch band come down, go to gift shop...etc.

Anything I'm forgetting about???

other than letting him throw piss balloons at Vandy??

there may be audible cursing at said football game. have you prepared yourself mentally for the trauma?

i personally think it's too early to bring a kid that young.

kid will be hot all day and likely start to complain

i would wait until around Auburn for that effort

Watch the Drumline warm up..go check out the Student Union with him, if he ask why there are a lot of repairs going on tell them its going to look like that for another 10 years.

Kids seem to love rolling down the Indian Mounds.

He'll be picking boogers and counting love bugs before the end of the 1st.

I was taking my kids when they were that young. Definitely see Mike, buy him something at the bookstore, and let him watch the band going down the hill.

We also have a sort of tradition of eating at Pastime(s) for lunch on gameday.

Little young for a football game. I got a boy the same age and have taken him to some basketball games, but to sit through a whole football game may be a bit much for him(esp a night game). May want to bring earmuffs too

I've already prepared myself for a shortened tailgaite and an early exit.....let the flamming begin for that too.

Yes he's young, and won't remember it down the road. One of my first memories is when I was around 8 yrs old (earthquake game), but my parents brought me at 3 & up. I just want him to have fun.

ETA - he's heard plenty bad language watching games on TV at my house with my buddies. As long as nobody curses AT him, I won't have a problem.

Don't bring him to the UF or Auburn games, you might lose him....

in college football it's harder to bring a kid because there's no preseason and every game counts, so every game has the potential to be a loss and the environment you don't want a kid to be in...

idk about vandy... it's not arkansas or florida, but it's not ULL or tulane

Make sure he sees the pre-game. Then get him to safety.
