at the refreshment line. "wow, that number eight sure is fast, how come you guys don't give him the ball more?"

good question along with why #5 doesnt get more carries or why we didnt see #10 even on the field.

I know i will get crap for this but i just think miles had a simple game plan and i dnt think our guys were motivated for this game, that being said we did enough to win and i think we will be better prepared for Vandy.

How this is possible is unfathomable.

Jump on me if you want, but I believe the same. We seemed to just be going through the motions and still did enough to win. This team will do nothing but get better from week to week. I was really disappointed however, with the tackling. Its getting ridiculous. Looks like poor tackling has become the norm with Miles' LSU teams. That must be corrected.

Emphasize Scott the first three quarters, then hit em with KW. The change of speed and fresh legs is a smart move.
I'm not convinced KW is a 25 carry/ game back.

I don't think we'll ever know.

We should have only 22 players on roster, that way we can play everyone and no one can complain about a lack of playing time from certain players.

I don't think we should ever know because Charles Scott is the best running back on this team.

His head isn't in the game enough to be this type of back.
The problem with Trindon is that speed is his only asset. He goes down with an arm tackle because of his size, and he's not elusive. He should be given about 5-7 touches max per game, and that's if we run the normal 60 or more plays. When we only had 45 offensive snaps, it's tough to give Trindon that many carries.

It's the 1st game against a non-sec opponent...we didn't need to run our real offense to beat them thus we didn't. Do you really think that if that were a bowl game or we didn't have to play x amount of tough games still that we wouldn't have beat them by at least 3 td's??? C'mon guys...a football season is a chess match...we don't want to show off our moves yet.

ding ding ding!!!! WE HAVE A WINNER!!!!!
Somebody finally gets it.
#8 just cant slip a tackle, he goes down if somebody farts on him. His strenght is the return game and razzle dazzle plays.

If that is true and the players weren't motivated, that would be more disturbing than almost anything else.
I mean, how rare is it to be able to play in a D1 College football game. Let alone a season opening game on National TV against a PAC ten team.
Hopefully this is baseless speculation. Cause if it ain't then my opinion of this team would take a real nosedive.

Because he is not any good. He's not a football player, he's a track star.

Man, Trindon would be deadly running that Toss Sweep offense the Jets had a few years back. I always have wondered why we haven't designed a lot of that for him when he comes in.

We don't like to use our super fast players
we're kinda the anti-Florida
all part if les' master plan...
