Another good one is when Prince and the Revolution peforms "Purple Rain" at the end of the movie. Very moving. Cheesy movie, but one of the GOAT soundtracks.

When Ace Ventura and Courtney Cox are about to enter Mr. Camp's party and Courtney Cox says to him, "Ace don't do anything to embarass me."

The final scene in "October Sky" when Homer's dad finally shows up to see his son fire off a rocket. Homer lets him press the "Fire" button.

Damn! There are so many scenes from the LOTR movies you could nominate! Thanks for posting this one -- I had to watch a couple more on youtube. They're like lay's potato chips.

I say if peter Jackson does nothing else in his career, he makes the HOF off LOTR trilogy.

I don't disagree with you. On the whole I found The Patriot disappointing. But that one scene rocks!

Gladiator when Maximus takes off his mask and says, "I am Maximus, father of a murdered son, husband of a murdered wife, and I shall have my revenge in this life or the next." Awesome....

Hell yeah! This, and the earlier scene where Maximus escapes execution by the Praetorians.
