I don't know if it is the best idea to be able to track this thing. I wouldn't want LSU fans to be able and tracker equipment trucks for teams like Alabama and Auburn due to what they're capable of......

Well, to be fair, all they are doing is updating Twitter posts...it's not like the entire site has been shut down and devoted to the truck.

I was wondering the same thing. Seems like a very out-of-the-way route to seattle they're taking....

Unless they want the publicity of driving up the coast... who knows, maybe they're going to drive by Pete Carrol's house and say hey.

It might also be the less mountainous trek...I've never driven an 18-wheeler loaded down with equipment over the Rockies but I'm assuming it isn't the easiest thing to do, especially for someone who's normal driving duties don't include anything over 100ft above sea level...

I-25 through Colorado is not bad, and I-80 through Wyoming doesn't go over anything too high. I can't see how going through the Cascades would be any easier.

And I wanted them to come through Denver!

I think you hit the nail on the head. I was wondering the samething but then saw the mountain ranges they would have to go over and it would burn a lot more fuel, probably be slower going and more dangerous through the mountains.

When I moved from Baton Rouge to SF, I took the 10 all the way across Texas....

I wanted to slit my wrists from San Antonio all the way to Phoenix. 2nd worst stretch of interstate ever....behind Mobile to Atlanta.
