Heading into the 2009 season, is there one player....

that you would really like to see succeed? We obviously want to see them ALL do well, but who's that one guy. Personally, I find myself rooting a little harder for Jai Eugene. It appears he has really worked hard this past off-season and he's always shown a ton of enthusiam whether on the field or the bench. There are several other guys that I wanted to list, but this is the one guy I narrowed it down to. Thoughts?
ETA: Also, I'm not simply talking about the one player that will have the greatest effect on LSU's win total. I was leaning more toward the "feel good" story angle. Lee would obviously be another guy that I'd like to see bounce back if given the chance.

Jefferson because if he does, the team likely does.

Well I would say Jefferson, primarily because no other one player besides the QB can have so much direct impact on our season through his performance. But if you're talking about more of a personal, emotional level, I'd say Stevan Ridley. He's the first LSU player from my high school and it would be really cool to see him kick arse.

Jefferson, just so everyone will shut the hell up about it. Also, we really need good QB play this season.

Anyone on defensive line because someone from that unit has to put pressure on the opposing QB, that way he doesn’t have all day to throw again.

Terrance Toliver, just so all the "5 star bust" comments can stop from opposing fans.

I would like to see Richard Murphy succeed and win the mufrickin Heisman to silence his critics. Mainly Corch Miles who hates him just cause he's from Rayville.

He would be my second choice. I want to see him EXPLODE onto the scene in 2009!

Keiland Williams...would love to see this guy have a great season. Know its gonna be tough thought with chuck in front of him on the depth chart.

Another good choice, especially with him being a senior.

Sorry, but I gotta mention two guys here: KW because he's always been a class act, and JJ because—well so much of our season hangs on the play of our QB, and Jordan's the youngest starting QB in the SEC. If he winds up the third-ranked SEC QB behind Tebow and Snead, it'll be a major accomplishment for him—and the team.
