I thought the pass rush was fine. Palmer and the other QB's got some lucky breaks while being driven to the ground.

Same old Saints? I thought the DLine was playing fairly decent Friday night. And, everybody knows Jason David sucks. This is not new information. He'll probably be cut.

I disgree guys. I looked like Palmer had all day to me whn the starters we in there. I though coverage was decent excepot for a few guys taht are no longer on the team, or will not make the team as DB's. But you can not cover people for 5 seconds.
I was in the dome so couldn't see replays. How often did we Blitz? I counted like 5, but I am sure I missed some. I thought we were going to be agressive and blitz more. Is this coming or I am misinformed?

Not misinformed at all....but GW will not show his hand before the regular season. It'll be pretty vanilla before then.

Welcome to NFL football. I can tell this is your first year watching professional football so I'm going to let you in on a standard procedure during the preseason. Since these games do not mean anything, Defensive Coordinators are reluctant to show anything except for their basic defense. This means very little blitzing, few disguises and a basic textbook defense. This is why you didn't see us blitz much. I hope you enjoy NFL football. It's really a fun league to get into.

Payton said before the game that he wasn't going to blitz for this preseason game. Nothing to be worried about. Overall, I thought the defense looked pretty good. obviously, there were some problems with coverage and stopping the run here and there, but some of this is to be expected in the 1st preseason game.

One preseason game and you have anointed yourself the head Coack and GM of the team.
Go read Gregg Williams conference comments. As far as Reggie, he touched the ball maybe twice and based on that you decide he is not sn NFL RB.
