It was goofy with him over the past year. He was, by default, the regular expert over on the tigerslair. He started a blog called damnstrong or something like that and started charging for it.
After that he told people they needed to pay again for a new blog he was starting, that was related to either ESPN or Rivals in some way, but then he was let go from the company a few weeks after that and didn't have the blog anymore.
Everyone knows the story with Purple and Gold Magazine.

did he take a bunch of subscriptions then leave everyone hanging? i wasn't living in LA at the time and haven't heard the story on this one.
