I agree. It is absurb to think a team like UF or their fans are scared of anyone.
Yes, we will be their toughest game, but scared shitless is just internet message board BS.

Goes right along with the post of how Chad Jones is going to break Tebow in half and how every team we play against is going to be scared of our defense.

In the SEC there's always a chance but barring 4 or 5 turnovers and the LSU D doing a 180 from last year it would be a MAJOR upset. It would be surprising if its within a couple scores.
UF should not lose this game. This is not LSU from 2007 and UF is way more loaded than 07. Remember, UF lost 3 or 4 games that season. One to Meeechigan.

While UF returns a completely ridiculous defense they have a few question marks on offense:

1) How do they replace Harvin?
2) They don't really have a proven big time WR.
3) Their running game isn't built to control a game. If you keep their offense off the field you've got a shot.

I live in GatorNation It seems as if the only game that GatorNation is worried about is Oct. 10th in Tiger Stadium under the lights. Do we have a shot at Tebow & company?

You need to update your "location" then, 'cause right now you're in Jaguar nation. And by the way, I live in Gay-nesville, and I've heard non-stop from Gaytor fans about Oct. 10. Seems to be one of the only games they know that the Gaytors play this year.

Sure we can.

But its not necessarily Tebow and their offense we should be most concerned with.

Their defense will be the best that LSU has faced in quite some time; certainly the toughest in Crowton's tenure here.

If our young QB's struggle, and Crowton's gameplan isn't close to flawless, points will be hard to come by.

Maybe the Gators will be looking forward to the LSU game, trip up, and lose one even before they meet us. That would be sweet. One of the funniest things to ever happen in CFB would be for them to not live up to all of the pre-season hype they've gotten.

As a Gator student, this is vastly exaggerated. Circled on our calender? Yes. Scared shitless? Hardly.

BTW, I was there in 2007 and am from Louisiana. I know how Tiger Stadium is on Saturday nights. Scared shitless is a bit of an overstatement.

Yes we have a shot. It's in Tiger Stadium at night. UF will be favored, but to answer your qtn for the second time: we have a shot.

I know teams that we put up 51 on scare me so i guess uf would be the same way.

I think we can win but i wouldn't say uf is scared of us.

Every time I see a questions regarding whether LSU has a CHANCE to beat UF, I stop and try to remember when the last game was that LSU went into thinking there was NO CHANCE to win.

Would probably be one of the games from the 80s or 90s. The 1982 Sugar Bowl against Nebraska comes to mind, but even that game was much closer than expected.

There isn't a team in CFB right now that LSU would go up against & be considered a heavy underdog. Doesn't mean the Tigers would always win, but there's no fear of any other team.

all i know is Brandon Spikes' leg needs to be swept.

Let's see him try to punt the ball in the stands when his leg gets swept.
