I use to pay 9 dollars a month now I pay 12 for one movie at a time and I have blu-ray. Well for almost 3 weeks I have been trying to get mad men season 2 and still has a wait. Then it takes them like 3 days to get my movie when I ship it to them

If you can time your return to be at Netflix on Monday morning, you'll have better luck. At least I always seem to.

I get my movie within 2 days of mailing it, sometimes one. Never had to wait for a movie I wanted either

Of course it helps that they ship out of Atlanta

I signed up for the blu-ray, but I could never get the movies so I switched back to regular dvds.

I got Gran Torino when it came out

I'm not so sure about that. If people are having trouble getting new releases the blockbuster option of switching out in store could make a big difference. Long term it will be better though because NetFlix seems to be way ahead on the downloading. I've skimmed the downloading option at blockbuster and it looks like they want to charge you per movie. I think $3 to rent and $10 to buy

BB sucks now. I switched to Netflix.

BB was good when I could get unlimited in store rentals. I would pay $20/month, get three in the mail, swap out at the store for three, then when my next 3 came in the mail, I'd watch them and take all 6 back to the store, and repeat the process. Then they shut down the delivery process and only allowed 3 movies at a time from either the store or mail, which totally took away benefit they had IMO.

If I get it in the mail before the afternoon pickup(2:30?), I get next movie two days later, without fail.

There's a Netflix distribution warehouse here in Baton Rouge.

something I suggested that might gain some traction if enough people voice it...

For cities with distribution centers- install a drop box at the distribution center. For many it would be no inconvenience and it would eliminate the whole day of mail process. Just a drop box/slot, nothing else, no people for service or anything.

I get steady two a weeks watching. Have squeezed in 3 sometimes. Drop at the P.O. instead home mail pickup helps.

I can't begin to say how much better Netflix is than BB. I worked that max mail/in store angle while it lasted at BB. That wasn't bad- while it lasted. Otherwise no comparison. BB customer service is so atrocious they deserve to go bankrupt.

If you have Cox, the entire season 2 of Mad Men is on AMC OnDemand.
