My aunt made a caramel pie that was out of this world. What is your favorite?

I don't eat pie much..its not as common these days I guess as it was for older generations. Of course I try to avoid sugar (Round Rock donuts notwithstanding) so I don't exactly seek out pecan pies when I'm shopping.

1.Pecan.
2.Pumpkin
3. Apple

Speaking of, I had the pecan pie along with bananas foster and bread pudding at brennans yesterday (dessert tasting among three). The pecan pie won hands down

I'm a local here. I was just using the Canadian spelling when describing a Canadian product.

I'm still waiting for my dream matchup...Wisconsin and LSU. Ah, but I digress.

Anyhoodle, maple syrup pie is very close to a pecan pie.

Sample recipe

Traditionally, it won't have nuts on it, but pecans would be the perfect marriage.
