The problem is this is going to end only in 1 of 2 ways.

Either the humans kill all the aliens, or the aliens somehow get their ship working or whatever and end up killing us for revenge.

the director is essentially being given a chance to show he can direct a big, successful scifi/action movie and he MAY get to do halo

this movie is based on a short the director did years ago. you can find it online. it's 6 min long

ht'e just taken that premise and expanded it. the more things i see in the preview, the more i get iffy

yeah the director is from south africa and the original shot was an allegory to apartheid

The aliens look ridiculous. Like stop-motion or claymation or something. I've seen more believable special effects on Robot Chicken.

If they look that bad in the preview, I can't imagine how bad they'll be in the movie itself.

It looks really intriguing. And I love South African accents.

I want to see it more, now that I was able to see the second trailer with the action scenes included. The first one intrigued me with the premise, the second one really got me wanting to see the movie.
