definitley a good pickup, Miles loves lineman, especially offensive lineman and I agree with it because you have to stock up on big lineman! Good pickup!

Because that isn't "real slow" for a guard. Unless you are running real close to 6.0, there is no such thing as a "real slow" 40 time for a guard.

Feel free to look at future NFL players at guard, and how fast they ran the 40 at the combine:

Hell there are quite a few OTs, mostly RTs, in the NFL that run 5.4 or slower.

Best quote from the ESPN story on Elliot

quote:

"I feel like a million bucks, I mean I feel like a million bucks." Porter said with a huge breath of relief. "It's just, whoo! It makes me feel like I couldn't go wrong. This is the best decision of my life. It's like a dream come true."

You should have seen his interview on Warchant last week when he was visiting FSU. Smart kid, he could be a future team captain.

Alright, another Marrero boy.

Ryan Clark - Shaw
Shy Carey - Shaw
Marlon Favorite - West Jeff
Chris Mitchell - Ehret

Porter keeping that pipeline open.

How many times does an OL run 40 yards? And why do you think that is an important stat for an OL?

Simply put, lack of speed is the main reason why he is more suited to the OL.

Miles doesn't need anyone or any rating service to tell him what a good OL prospect looks like.
