Someone told me there is a pic somewhere online of Auburn's punter (don't know which year) kicking out of the end zone in Death Valley, and there is an empty bottle of Jack flying near his head.

Can anyone confirm that this pic exists, and maybe even find it and post it here?

I dont know about the JD bottle, but I do recall seeing a pic of an Auburn punter kicking from the EZ. I will research my posts and see if I can find it.

This sounds photoshopped. Believe me, the photo would have been legendary if it were legit.

Didn't he push a LSU band member for running into him?

Maybe this is it.

U.S. Magistrate Judge William Cassady asked the attorneys to submit written arguments by Monday on the issue of whether Tommy Lunceford Jr. should remain in jail pending trial. For now, the 62-year-old former Auburn University punter will stay at Mobile County Metro Jail, where he has been since his arrest Tuesday night.

Not sure about the pic but did save this for you. Figured an Auburn hata like yaself would love part for a sig line.

quote:

Franklin’s take on Auburn

"It was the most unusual place I’ve ever been," Franklin said of the Auburn program. "No one liked anybody else. There was this deep distrust of everybody. The coaches didn’t trust the administration, the administration didn’t trust each other or the coaches.
It was very strange and very unnerving. You would walk down the halls and there would be tension you could just feel. No one would speak to you or even look at you. The coaches were all paranoid and didn’t trust anyone in the administration. They all felt like the administration was out to get them and they stressed out over everything that happened."

For the complete story of Franklin reflecting on his time at Auburn go to Saturday’s Montgomery Advertiser or montgomeryadvertiser.com
