3-0 in football, 5-0 in baseball and 0-0 in basketball. Is my memory faulty?

There is just something about a championship game when we are in it that brings out the best in our team.

You gotta feel sorry for Ohio State.

Yea...I feel so bad for them since they're the only team that has ever lost 2 national championship games. Damn that 1-2 record is god awful.

Pay close attention to the words in the post above and the subject of this thread.

Has LSU ever lost a National Championship FINAL game? FINAL GAME. Last night was not the final game, it could have been but it was not because we play another one today.

Because we lost. So if we won, it was the championship game, but if we lost it wasn't? That's some really sound reasoning right there.

Excellent job of hedging your words. My meeting tonight was canceled for the game!

Maybe not national title games, but we've lost SEC championships games. So it's hard to play the "we wake up and play special" card.

We lost to Stanford in '87 I think, but this is the first time LSU playing best of 3.
