Whale Wars - Did anyone watch yesterday's episode?

May be more of a question for the OT lounge but anyone else think it's just not right for the Sea Shepard to attack the whaling fleet currently searching for a man overboard? Even in war, there are rules imo.

frick no, this is the only hippie organization I agree with. I would be fricking up some Zips if they were killing whales.

Same here. Don't get me wrong, I love what they do but attacking a fleet looking for a a man overboard may be crossing the line. Be interesting to see how all this plays out.

I fricking hate that first mate....he is such a douche.
One time their tech saves their arse and he takes the opportunity to bash using high tech navigation supports in sailing and he would be content navigating with a compass and the stars.
Later in the same episode he puts the ship in a bind trying to navigate through an ice field and all the while bitching to his navigator because he can't understand bearings and headings.

ok just started watching this show and its hard to root for the Shepard even though I don't like what the whalers are doing. I think the Shepard is going about it the wrong way, they do act like terrorists.

I work in the commercial fishing industry and I have dealt with attacks fom Greenpeace. They are the ultimate slime. I too root for the Nips.

i definitely like what they are doing, but do not agree with going after a fleet searching for someone, no matter if they would never be able to find them. you have to show some type of respect

Its the result of giving a bunch of dorks a large boat and helicopter. I'm all for protecting endangered species, but endangering the life of your crew by going through a pack of ice in a boat that's not equipped to do so and playing chicken with "enemy" boats is stupid. And for what...to call the Japanese people names and throw stink bombs on their boat.
Any two people from any of the deadliest catch crews could run that boat better than the 8-10 people they have....and would be more fun to watch.
