That #1 seed is the only thing that got them this far. They haven't seen a team anywhere close to the caliber of LSU. I really don't see Texas being able to score enough to keep it close.

+1. The only regional they could have won, other than the one they were in was the Louisville Regional.

Nah, they could have won a lot of regionals. The Super Regionals would have been tougher. They would have lost to Rice.

Let's see, they beat TCU in the super regionals twice. I bet they would have won the regional TCU was in.
They beat Southern Miss in the CWS so I bet they could have had a chance to win the regional USM was in. Plus Florida's regional.
And they beat ASU twice, so they could have had a chance to win that regional too.
So I'd say this top 5 team would have definitely won more than just two regionals this year, yes.
