While I liked 40 Year Old Virgin, I think it's overrated. And I'm probably the only one, but I liked Hot Fuzz more than Shaun of the Dead.
As for Old School, Anchorman, and Wedding Crashers, until I see Hangover multiple times and still enjoy it, I agree that they are funnier for right now.

Old School and Shawn of the Dead are not funnier than the Hangover. The others are on par.

I just don't see how this is possible. I will take SOTD out, but there is no way that The Hangover is better than Old School.
I have seen Old School over 15 times and still think it is hilarious. Not sure I could watch The hangover more than 5 times.

It's pretty hilarious. Basically a lot of people from the old show The State, and it's a parody of all the older camp/summer camp movies. Paul Rudd is in it as well, and he's pretty hilarious. If you don't like that kind of humor (like The State...from Wiki: "The film itself follows The State's irreverent humor, with lots of absurdism, non-sequiturs, and toilet humor."), then you may not like it. If you do, you'll love it.
It's just a pretty ridiculous movie.

I don't get it. I mean the hangover is sort of like old school recast and set in Vegas over 2 nights. Very similar movies. I love old school for alot of the same reasons i like the hangover.

I guess what does it for me is that there are many actors in Old School that have great parts, where The Hangover has a couple.

We should have to make two lists... one for sober viewing, and one for not sober.
On my "sober" list, Hangover, Old School, Van Wilder, etc, would be on top. On my "not sober" list, Super Troopers, Zoolander, and Borat would be up there.

Borat is only one I can say I laughed out loud while watching.
