Why wouldn't the saints get Michael Vick?

Look I can't stand thugs as much as the next guy, but imagine what he could do for our offense. We could have the best offense in the league with Mike Vick.
Having Brees and Vick would be awesome. This seems like a no-brainer to me.

What on earth could he do for our offense? It's like cornering a squirrel and shooting it with a bazooka...it's just not necessary. We've got all the firepower that we need.

You're not serious are you? I think he's a multi 1,000 yd rusher. I'd like Reggie to be a QB if he can do that too.

The problem with Vick being on the field is it takes the ball away from the Saints' best player most of the time. I want the ball in Brees' hands every Offensive play. I really don't see Vick in SP's offensive game plan.
