When did Louisiana State paint their field like this?

I like the tiger eye in the middle better than this...the Tiger Eye looks awesome.

id rather that era than the hallman era that brought my first memories of LSU.

amazing to think at one point i was excited about going to the indy bowl

True, but most fans are stupid. There were some great times during the Dinardo era. Especially considering what came before it.

Actually DiNardo brought back the Eye and the White uni's. It's probably Hallman or Archer.

Not many of you will remember the days when the midfield was painted with 4 squares. Two squares were purple and gold. Two squares were painted with the visiting team's colors.

Because Dinardo coached 97 Florida/LSU and it was LSU at midfield, not the eye.

Hallman was ten times the coach Dinardo was. Look at the talent level when Hallman took over. Other than Kinchen, they had Vandy/Kentucky level talent. Dinardo had some decent talent when he arrived and eventually dumbed himself out of a job.
