yeah, b/c its not like he didn't play a huge role in us getting that win against Miss St. last friday, and obviously Ochinko has swung the bat well, fricking idiot

I think they are looking at the long run and getting him as much exp as possible.

Did nola do something in todays game that I didn't hear about. My only concern is our lineup against lefties. Other than that I think nola and others have played the role they have been asked to. I wish he was swinging the bat better but that will come with time.

Why is everyone so obsessed with this kid Nola? So he has one good game in 20 so far? I don't get it? Don't give the defense BS, Helenihi has just as good of a glove and arm.

what's Ochinko's SEC Batting average again? Maybe I'm missing something here.

It shouldn't be a Ochinko vs Nola comparison.

i am a firm believer in defense. i think nola has good range and a good arm. i like the line up. as another poster said, my concern is left handed pitchers.

He does. He was recruited as a SS and has played there a little. I thought you were supposed to be the voice of LSU baseball. You should know that.

Schimpf didn't play first until recently away so your point is meaningless anyway.
