If you had the playbook and were coach for each of the six years The Bulls and MJ won the NBA title, think you would win at least one? As caoch you, of course, choose how much to "coach". You are coach for the entire season of those six years.

yes, especially in the 91-93 stretch when they were hungry.

you have two of the 50 greatest players of all time on the floor, and one of the greatest teammates ever in MJ. they had enough coaches on the floor

Do I coach bball for a living or am I just some dude off the street? If I'm the latter, than no and I'd just let MJ call the shots.

i think they were just better more so than hungry. typically, you are hungriest for something when you have never tasted it before.

You are you with as much experience with BB as you have. By the sixth season of Jordan, you'd have at least six years NBA experience.

jordan is the greatest ever because he was the most driven athlete of all time, it had EVERYTHING to do with them(Jordan) being hungry.

Hell No. But I could wear a nice suit and pretend to while Jordan does all the work.

Yes, because they wouldn't listen to me and MJ would do the coaching, we'd win, and I'd take credit for two 3 peats.

No, because to be successful in that environment, it requires a different sort of management skills/catering to a superstar's ego. Not my thing.

I think I could have won 1, but obviously not 6.

The team with Jordan, Rodman, Pippen and Harper would be one of the easier because you almost wouldn't have to worry about defense.

Those guys were all-pro defenders and rebounders. You could go out, play man defense, and hope you don't run into the Magic or Rockets in the playoffs. As long as you aren't playing Wennington or Longley on an all-pro center you'd be fine.

Another interesting thing to look at is how easily they rolled through the playoffs in each year and think "how much worse could I have screwed it up?". So here are the playoff series results in order from 1st rd to Finals...

1991: 3-0, 4-1, 4-0, 4-1
1992: 3-0, 4-3, 4-2, 4-2
1993: 3-0, 4-0, 4-2, 4-2
1996: 3-0, 4-1, 4-0, 4-2
1997: 3-0, 4-1, 4-1, 4-2
1998: 3-0, 4-1, 4-3, 4-2

The "trouble" they had in '92 and '93 were the Knicks, fwiw.
