I would have to say Opie's and Juban's. Had both and both were just ok.

I'm not sure how all you can eat low/medium grade sushi for $15 can be considered 'overrated'. you're absolutely getting exactly what you paid for.
Now, Mike Andersons, Boutin's, and the Baton Rouge version of Gallatoire's on the other hand....

Joes can't be overrated because it sucks. No one ever said it was even close to being good.

I didn't feel Opie's was overrated, I have enjoyed my meals there a lot. However, I think Bistro Byronz is my first choice when I'm on that side of town.

Mike Anderson's and Ruth Chris are both way over-rated, IMO. They are popular with the LSU alum crowd but I feel shorted everytime I go to these places.
I disagree with Jubans being over rated. It is solid for special occasions.

+1 for Rocco's
Chelsea's Cafe is easily the most overated...crappy food + subpar service...stick to serving drinks and live music

DiGiulio Brothers....I've been there twice and it's no better than Portobello's IMO, and that's not saying much.

Didn't read the whole thread, but Mike Anderson's is the correct answer. I still believe that the hordes of posts praising it over the years were made by employees or something.
It isn't even average
