Headlines on newspaper in alt universe
Obama's move into new White House
Former Pres. Kennedy addresses UN
Bias leads Celtics to sweep
So---is this still 2009--only with the attacks hitting the White House instead of the Twin Towers?

Good episode last night, but they still need to advance the deeper plot somewhat. Last night's show was just like every other show...one specific storyline with a clear start and a clear finish. The only difference was that at the very end of the show, they threw in a couple of things to try to "boom" the audience.
I like the show a lot and the first season definitely kept me interested, but it seemed like the first five or so episodes were trying so hard to create this huge conspiracy angle, and then the rest of the shows just kinda went away from that and were just cut and dry shows. Massive Dynamic, the huge "bad guy" company, is now all of a sudden not bad anymore? They did nothing with the Observer. He wasn't even really in this episode. They keep hinting at aliens, but now all of a sudden (the last couple of shows), it may not be aliens, but rather alternate realities.
Who knows...like I said, I like the show, I just wish it would stay focused on the premises it started out with. But with JJ Abrams, I guess we're lucky we don't have a billion questions like with Lost.
