GG is as much a LSU beat writer as Finebaum is a Bama beat writer. I can't remember the last time I read one of his articles and wasn't shocked at how people actually pay him to write about LSU.

Silliest comment from ESPN ever. Easily tops the "Les Miles to Michigan" report from Herbstreit.

there you go making sense again, this is the rant, we don't have time for logic here

seriously though, if that is our biggest problem, i think we're in good shape or at the very least have the potential to be in good shape, don't you?

SC's got one of those too. This frick head named Scott Wolfe who actually is our beat writer. Everything he "writes" has a bitter negative slant. The tool admits that he's a bigger soccer fan than SC fan. Total arse hat.

I wish we all had this type of optimism and outlook.

They talked about our WR troubles? Did they bring up possible QB troubles for Bama and USC? I bet they didn't. They probably sucked them off the whole show, saying how great they will be.

It's too early to be doom and gloom for me, I have finals that bring down my mood; but with all the issues from last year if the "experts" are saying that our biggest problem is WR like everything else has been figured out, I think we might have a good year :D

LSU has the #1 overall receiver from 2007. then they get the #1 overall receiver from 2009. then they get the #1 athlete in 09' as well.. who will be all over the field including wide receiver.
Lets not forget they have one of the best pass catching tight ends in the SEC.. oh and yes the most productive receiver on the team from last season is returning for his senior season.. hell trindon can lineup at receiver.

Jordan Jefferson knows how to spread the ball around and Toliver is a freak.

I wouldn't say trouble yet and the one known guy that we've got is projected to be the #1 WR taken in the draft. Lots of schools would kill to have LSU's "troubles" at WR.

Agreed. I didn't read the article, but by trouble, do they mean trouble for opposing defensive backs?

On a slightly different note.... just a friendly warning to everyone on this thread... don't bother with the Guibeau thread on how LSU only has 1 solid wide receiver in responding to concerns about each writer's "team".... it's the most tired and repetitive thread I've ever wasted 20 minutes on. This thread has it right.

Now, what about Randle's injury?

Does anyone know how to email Glenn Guilbeau?
The reason being we should all email him and let him know that we do not appreciate him putting down on our Tigers that way on national tv.
These crappy sports writters write and say anything they want to about any team or anyone and are not held accountable for they say or write. He kind of reminds me of another sports writter that was here at the Advocate and now he is in Pennsylvania. His name was John Adams. He was always writting things about LSU he should not have been writing. Maybe that is why Glenn Guilbeau is in Shreveport and not here in Baton Rouge.
