I love that place. The only negative is it is dirty inside, but that adds to its charm.

Veal Parm is excellent. Their apps are weak. The German are is mediocre. All their gravy dishes are nice.

Anything they serve in the cast iron skillet is good.. Nice robust sauce. I wonder if it would help to set up some of these on your table when you arrive..

Meh. Actually went last night and had this. I didn't think is was anything better than average. The bread is store bought and was bland.

The Wienerschnitzel with the old rice potatoes Ms. Bubola used to put out, used to be money.

It's because they don't charge $10 for bread like other Italian places in BR.

Do any of these places who have bread as their top selling appetizer actually bake the bread in house?

That sounds almost as good as meatball nachos.

I like the place, and I agree, the Italian dishes are better than the German.

Well Little Village has the best bread and its 6-7 dollars for a huge freakin loaf (4 dollars half) that I tried to make myself and it cost me 13 dollars in ingredients so I dont have much of a problem with this trend if the bread is as good as LV.

One of few to be found in BR. I prefer a bit more melted cheese. Nice flavor. That place must bujrn through onions.
