It depends on who's not mentioning him - who you're talking about. If someones says he shouldn't be up there in the top 5, certainly top 10 SEC backs since '80's, then you're on the extreme - and that's on pure stats.
I think you have a good case for top 5 since '80 in the SEC, maybe up to 3. But, to LSU, he moves higher when it comes to the program at LSU, and what he meant in comparison to other LSU players... which is another question.
