Anyone ever eat there? Thoughts? Suggestions? Is it any good? Thinking about trying it out on Friday.

I used to enjoy it when I lived in Baton Rouge. The Rama Spicy and the duck entree were my favorites. The place itself is pretty dingy, but the food was solid. Haven't been in about two years though.

It is good, though in my opinion, Thai Pepper is better.

I've been a few times. The tom yum soup is excellent, and my gf loves their pad thai. I usually just order whatever the little lady in there recommends for an entree. Once it was excellent (a spicy shrimp dish, I forget the name), and once I was disappointed.
I put the food a notch above Thai Kitchen. Don't expect to be impressed by the interior.

it used to be great, but haven't been in a long time.
The tom yum soup and rama spicy appetizer were always good.

I think it is underrated food.
It's good and affordable, although it's not much for atmosphere.

I always order the Rama Spicy. The Pad Thai, Panang Curry and Green Curry are all also very good, but I would stay away from the Red Curry. I didn't think it was anything special.

went last night, had the pad thai and the garlic duck and the spring rolls. All were very good

went tonight and really liked it. had the rama spicy and a cold spring roll as an appetizer. rama spicy was tasty and the spring roll was a nice change of pace. I would order the spring roll again depending on my mood.
For entrees, I got the sweet and sour pork and my girlfriend got the pad thai. The pork was one of the better ones i have tried. It was nice and crispy while still holding a good amount of sauce. Speaking of the sauce, I was a little put off by the fact that the sweet and sour had pickles in it, but i got over it. the pad thai was great. definitely one of the best i have had. I was pleased that they didn't over do the cilantro. My mom does that with her pad thai and I can't handle a ton of cilantro.
finished with the fried bananas and vanilla. fantastic. the bill came to 35 which was extremely reasonable. the service was fine. she was a little slow to take our order at first, but was very helpful. will be added to the rotation from now on. I also noticed a lot of people do pick up orders which I would love, especially the pad thai.

When we lived in BR, this was one of the few plces, other than fast food, we could afford to eat in and it's great to hear it's still good and affordable. I love a dive...got to get back in there soon.
