SLU Fighting Lions..coming to a Box near you!

Keys to Victory: SLU...don't be nervous. The one game that SLU has lost to in-state teams has been at SLU vs LSU in a blow out 16-5 game. The team was so jacked up they actually tried too hard. 12 walks and 4 errors later...had a blow out on our hands. I don't think SLU will play that bad again...LSU needs to be ready for this game...this is the best in-state team when it comes to playing instate competition.
SLU has the best instate record this year and can wrap it up this week.
SLU looks to split w/ LSU tomorrow night to tie season series at 1-1
SLU has already swept season series against UL
SLU took 2 of 3 from Tulane
Swept Mcneese 3-0 in season series
Up 1-0 on Southern right now...play Southern Weds. night going for season sweep.
So it's obvious SLU is the up and coming program in the state and on the right track. They've won @ LSU before but first venture into the New box.
LSU is struggling and SLU already had their struggles for the year and look to continue playing pretty good baseball after winning 3 of 4...and they take advantage of their warming up and win at LSU to at worst have atleast a .500 record against every state team.
Prediction: SLU 8 LSU 6 SLU wins after taking lead in top of 9th for dramatic finish.

Hey I admitted we had a terrible game..you can't have 12 walks..you just can't..esp. not against a good LSU team.
but SLU has beat teams that LSU has yet to beat this year...so they aren't terrible

I graduated from SLU and even I know that that's transitive logic and usually doesn't mean a thing in sports.

agreed....but it shows they aren't terrible after doing it to multiple teams LSU hasn't beat

SLU has done well but no better than ULM who also swept ULL and should have swept Ark. Both teams will have to win there conf tournament for post season imo.
