It appears that the Aggies have now noticed the LSU plates invading Texas.

It probably outsells the Aggie plates, so they are embarrased because of it. I wonder if Louisiana strawberries are allowed to be sold in Texas too.

I would think the Hornfans would sell the most.

I ordered one and put them on my new car the day I recieved 'em. I love the fact that the Aggies and Horns are pissed.

Here in DFW I have had a few people express dismay over my new plate. Usually the words "just wrong" are somehow involved. To be truthful it wasn't as bad as I had expected for as self absorbed as this state is.
...To be truthful it was more fun in 2004 pulling in front of cars and trucks with OU stickers to make sure they could have a good view of my LSU sticker. Hopefully LSU beats UT for for the MNC this year and I can have some more fun.

ummm, is this below statement true?
"These plates are not street legal or insignias of vehicle registration"

No. If you read further down the Aggie thread, there is a second link that is the correct one.

wait you're saying in the entire state of texas only 7000 specialty aggie plates are sold and 5000 ut plates a year? for some reason that seems really low to me.

yeah just confirmed they make a street legal version, the link provided the aggies site was for the non legal souvenir version

Louisiana doesn't make plates for schools outside LA, do they? will they?
