Do flavor and spice really say it all or is there something else?

Manda is basically Conecuh with a fake-Cajun accent. Terrible.

I like Manda's and it's my fav for jambalaya & gumbos, although you do have to cook a lot of the grease out of Manda's...Jerry Lee's is my fav for a sausage poboy.

conecuh is 100 times better than mandas....conecuh is actually a pretty decent smoked sausage; its the only sausage i will use that it is available here in ga, and that includes savoies....mandas is a glorified freaking hot dog...

Garbage. Full of fillers not all real meat. Tried Richards alligator sausage Friday, what a hit!

+ 1

Manda's is bologna sausage.

Martin's or Homemade is what I use most.

Conecuh is decent too. Has a lot of grease in it but it has a good flavor.

Regardless of whether you like it or not the above is not a true statement.

If you don't like the flavor that is one thing but to just make up a bunch of stupid shite is another.

So I assume it is a bunch of "not real meat."

Like what? Synthetic meat? Polyester meat? Rayon meat? 80/20 poly meat? Wrinkle free meat?

Please if you are considering making dumbass statements like you did at least know what the hell you are spouting off about.

Moron.

just sayin.

Fillers

They don't use just boston butt is what I meant. I do have some knowledge of what they use, my brother works there and he doesn't eat it. It is filled with seasoning seeds and temple meat. I think you need to try a couple different sausages and you will see the difference. It is not quality for sure.

Lots of hate for Manda. Damn.. I will say I dont care for their roast beef but if on sale I will buy their sausage for a cheap BBQ. Its decent. Is there better sure but if I can get a pound for 3 dollars for a unplanned grilling then its the way I go.

Manda temple meat works for me. It is easy to get, decent tasting, and economical.

I thought that might be a little 08 ish.

I've eaten every sausage made around here. Manda is ok. Not the best but certainly not the worst.

Best in my opinion is Calvin's Market Cajun Sausage. It is a fresh sausage and not sure what the seasonings are but they just make it work.

Veron's mild has a pretty good flavor. I need to find a link sausage with sage.

I like Italian but not the sweet nor do I like hot sausage. The older I get the less tolerant I am for hot and spicy. The Calvin's Cajun is not hot but seasoned good.

Tini do you like jimmy dean with sage? That is the only sausage I've tried with sage. I agree with you on needing one with sage.
