I'm not sure how far I would vote Cafe Du Monde over legit restaurants that aren't coffee stands, but for now: Cafe Du Monde has contributed more to Louisiana food than its competition, and would be missed more if it disappeared.

Red River Grill- The pecan crusted redfish with the crawfish tasso cream sauce is excellent!
