I like positive things not negative and agree PM is our coach and we must live with it.

If you can't handle the heat of coaching don't do it. Ask any little league coach.
But pointing out the obvious is a way of venting, when you keep seeing the same misstakes why not vent on a board like this??
I also pointed out things denardo, and brady were doing wrong, maybe all coaches should look at these type of boards
You may be right some of the time, but most of the time you don't know the whole story behind why a coach makes a certain decision.

would you post the stats that would make you believe Paul Mainieri is a better decision maker than John Brady?

cj, you should know that if most of the posters on here could get a day off from the drive-thru window they could apply for the HC job in Football, Basketball, and Baseball and lead the Tigers to 3 undefeated seasons and three NCs.

depends on your definition of "high level".
I coach the Marlins 4 yr old T-Ball squad down at Jr deputy. It's obvious to me that PM is in way over his head.

question: what two things do memphis, kentucky, georgia, alabama, virginia, arizona, washington state, and soon to be xavier all have in common?
1. they all had head basketball coach openings this spring.
2. NONE of them even considered john brady for their jobs.

The stalker returns after a four week abscence. Welcome back.
those schools will realize in a few years what a mistake they made in not hiring the coach who lifted a moribund program to incredible heights while battling through draconian sanctions and substandard facilities.

Don't forget track and field, now.
If you're going to include previous coaches (which you seem to be doing, Trent Johnson has never been and Van Chancellor has only once), we have two men's Final Four basketball coaches and three national championship head football coaches.
And I can't believe you left Skip out of this list. That deserves a

you are keeping track of how long i am in between posts, but im the stalker?
nobody stalks you. your absolute stupidity sticks out more than a sore thumb. its like youre the only person holding a light in an otherwise pitch black room when you post your bullshite.

i guarantee none of those schools will ever think "damn, we shouldve hired that good for nothing drunk from some hick town in arkansas"

who lifted a moribund program to incredible heights
incredible heights like winning a ncaa tournament game in 2/11 seasons? incredible heights like an overall losing record in conference after 11 seasons? incredible heights like failing to sign a single recruit after making it to a final 4? incredible heights like not making the postseason at all for 2 years after going to the final 4? incredible heights like having over 30 players leave the team in one way or another in 11 years? those incredible heights?

oh good, a new bullshite excuse. please expand, and be sure to chronicle the facilities of all other SEC and comparable basketball programs in the process.
there is somebody around here with a sig quote of you guaranteeing john brady would be coaching at georgia or alabama next year. are anthony grant or mark fox looking for volunteer coaches? grad assistants?

I coach a lot of baseball, school and summer, and me and the coaches have sessions after the game where we question our decisions and why we made those decisions. I am sure that a lot of other coaches do the same thing. We do the same thing on this website. It is a lot easier to sit in the stands and question the decisions of the coach. My wife does it every night.

I have never coached football a day in my life, but I'm pretty sure that Curley sucked. Doesn't mean that I could have coached the team any better. Hell, I wouldn't know how to hold a practice. I’m not sure what the left tackle is supposed to do with his left arm and right foot, or which way is butt is supposed to point. But I still think that Curley sucked, and I'm sticking to it!

I once scored 46 runs on a Coleco baseball game and was hit in the head with a pitch by future Olympian Kim Mulkey in a Little League game - does that count?

The point in this thread was lost a long time ago.
I never said you can't question moves that are made, but people come on here acting as if they always know what Paul Mainieri should do and if he doesnt do that, he's a dumbass or somethin. There is a difference. Sorry if I find myself giving OUR coach the benefit of the doubt more than some of you on here. I mean, if we don't support LSU coaches, who will? I think we owe it to em to be honest with ya.
But again, even I question moves they make, but thats not the same as the complete bashing that goes on. But I'm sure Mainieri couldn't really care less so yall keep on. I guess I just support my tigers a little differently...
