Is his ACT below 17? That's the only possible way (assuming both the Advocate and Times Picayune are wrong).

Its freaking April 2nd........I'm pretty sure the first fall practice isn't till August.....
They have more than 3 months to improve ACT scores.......

let me get this right.we take davenport who was hurt,played on a low classification team like woods over sentimore who wrecked havoc on everybody on the 5a level and wanted to come here.and it all had to do with qaulifying.and davenport is still trying.recruiting at its best.

Ithouht the same thing. If we're taking players with grade issues anyway, why not offer Sentimore?

i think it basically boiled down to which one wanted to be a tiger and which one didnt had we been recruiting sentimore the whole time and started recruting davenport late we still would have gotten chris but since it was the other way around we hurt sentimores feelings so he decided to go to bama. still would rather have davenport

Didnt Sentimore also have some character issues. I dont think that was ever explained on here but i do remember that phrase thrown around a good bit.

None besides he wanted to be coached by Saban. Pretty much makes him a masochist. The character thing was only because his name was thrown around with Lacy a lot before NSD. It was petty rumor shiite.
I think he showed pretty good character by honoring his Bama commitment when we pushed real hard for him at the end.
