6'9 215lb PF from Ole Miss is leaving to be closer to his family in BR. What do yall think?? That'd be pretty sly of Trent.

Great pickup if we get him, too bad he can't play next year.

I wish he would bring Terrance Henry with him.

Wow. Sykes is 7'2" and 265lbs. That's huge. I wish we would go after him.

If the dude wants to be close to home AND play, how can Trent miss?

With Warren and Polynice back from their injuries, and the emergence of Terrico White and David Huertas, I can easily see Ole Miss going to that type of lineup. All 5 of those starters could possibly average double figures.

dont think he's a guard at all. may be wrong though.

eta: looked it up. i was wrong. i was think of that big bearded mofo they had. guess he's gone. what was his name again.

also if they run with that lineup they'll gonna get killed down low.

Yeah, Polynice plays the wing. He can go 2 or the 3, probably more naturally suited for the 3.

I can. Go out and try to get a guy that would play for you 1 year and tie up that scolorship when you can find one for 4. Not smart at all.

If you can get Mal White, he is a raw, but skilled, big man.

He had 18 boards against Auburn in 1 game last year.

He's got a good shot from 12-15 feet in plus he's a good FT shooter. He's decent defensively and he out muscled Varnardo twice last year - holding him to virtually nothing in the 2 games we played MSU.

It's a loss for us - he was just starting to turn the corner at the end of the year.

Wouldnt we have to release him to LSU? If thats the case, it'll never happen IMO

True... Southern, Tulane, UNO, ULL, NSU, etc. are more logical destinations for him.
