What happened between he and Texas or M Brown?

My money just a couple of weeks ago would have been that he ended up at Texas. I wouldnt have minded losing that money provided he came to LSU.

What was the bang head emoticon for? Books asked another poster where that information was from and the other poster had not answered him yet so I posted the location where i saw the exact same information. Then, I clarified it by stating that I do not have subscriptions to any pay sites so I wouldn't know if it had been posted there or not. Don't get mad at me cause I answered Books' question to the best of my ability.

Don't worry about that...there is no shortage of dumb dumb on this site

It was more a figure of speech. I wouldnt actually bet on something so stupid.

However, I do talk to a couple of people VERY closely involved with the football program at Thibodaux fairly regularly. Their explanations seemed solid and made a lot of sense.

I will say that the reasons given dealt with 1) Reed enjoying himself at Texas' camp, 2)his mothers passing and father being in Texas, 3)Whichever HS Seastrunk goes to, 4) supposedly Lorio's constant pumping of LSU was a turn-off for Reed.

None of that is factual obviously. Its the opinions of some people close to the football program at Thibodaux. I definitely hope he chooses LSU.

why would that matter when you're talking about college?

There seemed to be a possibility of Reed moving to Texas and playing his senior year at the same HS as Seastrunk because Reed's father supposedly lived in that same town, or nearby.

A few weeks ago it seemed as if both trevon and lache were texas leans. Now I think texas will finish up the WR class and kind of give up on reed. This sucks because we could really use reed and/or seastrunk. They are gonna be a magnificent combination at either texas or LSU, either is fine with me.

Trovon is done with Texas. I don't have the exact dates but he is going to Southern Cal to visit for a week. He is also going visit Auburn which brings the Seastrunk combo back into play.

found a little more info on this:
quote:

the need for Trovon Reed diminished significantly and resulted in the Longhorns backing off the Louisiana star -- a decision that is understandable considering the scholarship limitations quickly creeping up on the Longhorns. Reed never seemed particularly interested anyway, so the decision for both the Longhorns and Reed to move in other directions seems rather mutual.

there is a link to a Rivals article for you ballers out there
LINK

also some mention of Lache being at a UT closed scrimmage
quote:

the coaches invited Lache Seastrunk and Jackson Jeffcoat down for the closed scrimmage held on Saturday. Seastrunk likely made it down with his mother, who will be a major factor in his recruitment, so establishing a comfort level with her was a goal over the weekend for the Longhorn coaches.
