I first read speculation that they were out of the mix since they did London last year. Here's word about them on the short list for Toronto. I'm for it since it would cancel any bad Buffalo weather possibilities.

However, the NFL appears to be leaning more strongly in the direction of choosing an NFC team, such as the Buccaneers (who have yet to settle on a starting quarterback) or perhaps the New Orleans Saints, who have Pro Bowler Drew Brees under center. At least one other unknown team is believed to be on the short list.

Doesn't Toronto have similar weather? It's only an hour or two away. And I think I'm against it. I don't believe it affects the Saints one way or another, but I heard they are doing a dress rehearsal for moving the Bills and feel bad for the people in Buffalo. It'd be like if they tried to move the Saints to Biloxi or Mobile.

Yes, possibly worse. But it is at the Rogers Centre retractable dome. Heated comfort

Woo Hoo Saints in biloxi I'd actually hate that. Don't want all the traffic here. It's bad enough as it is with only 4 roads between I-110 and HWY 49 going N/S.

They better not take away one of my home game tickets like they did for the London game (even though we won)

It would be a Bills home game, and with our type of offense, I hope its our game that gets moved. Better chance of victory playing in the dome.

Are you sure? We have played home games in The Meadowlands and London-I am sure the NFL could bend us over again....

+1000

less of a home field advantage, faster track, no weather influence.

This move would be a huge plus for us.

you don't get it, Buffalo plays a home game or two in Toronto like every year, it would be a home game for them.

fyi for those who dunno the NFL schedules are determined years in advance except for two games per team. Those two are the ones you play against other conference teams not in the division you play all that year. This year for instance that is the NFC North and West. Since the Saints were NFC South last we play the last place teams of those divisions (Detroit & StL) home and away.

Here's the 2010 schedule less those 2 games

HOME
Tampa Bay
Atlanta
Carolina
San Francisco
Seattle
Pittsburgh
Cleveland
NFC North

AWAY
Tampa Bay
Atlanta
Carolina
Arizona
St. Louis
Baltimore
Cincinnati
NFC East

I've thought about it 5 times now..... nope, still an easy win

I can see it now. After Brees throws for his 4th TD of the game and the Saints now up 38-27 with 4 mins left in the game, TO is 5 yds behind Sharper and the ball hits him right in his hands 46 yds downfield..... BRICK.... yet another TO drop! Funny thing is that it's only the 6th pass by Edwards that was actually on target all game.

BUF SUX arse

Will Smith gets his first sack of the season after T-Eddie trips on the turf and Smith gets blocked into him by accident.

The fact that the Saints played in London last year has nothing to do with their eligibility for Toronto this year.

The Dolphins played in London in 2007 and then Toronto in 2008.

They also went worst to first which means that if the Saints go to Toronto they too would go from worst to first.
