Well I'm not too sure if they lost their entire sting, but I would say that they are not as hungry as last years team...

One game? Have you been watching? They have been playing well, however, they do look like they have taken a step back from last year.

Maybe Pargo was the x-factor last year.

Hornets haven't been playing well lately, just a soft spot in the schedule. What good team did they beat during that 7 game win streak? 0 by my count.

they are what 2-3 games off last year's pace with chandler sidelined for weeks, west for a significant chunk and paul for a few games...add the fact that they are now a bigger game on team's schedule than last year...they're actually doing a little better than I thought they would by this time. I wish we could have gotten a couple of those shitty games earlier in the year.

I could actually see peja doing well coming off the bench down the stretch.

Winning 8 in a row in the NBA is tough no matter what your schedule looks like. They lost to a team tonight who they would beat more times than not but got outplayed.

you laugh but i bet they wouldn't lose every lead in the second quarter if he was in the game when CP3 goes out.

it's funny how everyone said he shot too much and they didn't like him, but now it seems everyone wants to make the excuse for bench scoring on not having him.

WTF??
They just lost their 1st game from a 7 game winning streak..
I think they are on pace for a good run in the playoffs!

yeah well if they come out in a game or two in the playoffs and play the way they played tonight, they will have no run and will be embarrassed like they were tonight.
losing is one thing, not trying is another.

thats bc they are terrible fans and made kneejerk reactions to game seven

pargo was the only one with the balls to step up and actually try to win that game down the stretch

Of the 7 teams the Hornets beat, 4 would be in the playoffs if they started right now.

You seem to be forgetting about the losses to Charlotte, Sacramento, Golden State, Chicago, Minnesota, New York, Memphis, etc. All teams that if you combine them they have less than 50 wins.
