this is a no brainer!!!!! jefferson WILL start. miles will never play a freshman unless he has to. just like last year. or wait lets go back 2 years russell was the starter matthew was the back and the "super star" mr. ryan perilloux was 3rd string.

Any coach who would announce his starting QB at this stage of the year, with the only options being 2 sophomores (one a RS) who had limited playing time last season and a true freshman, should be fired for stupidity.

So, I browsed through 18 pages hoping to find that someone would mention something about the acquisition of Jarrett Lee, and I didn't.
A lot of people seem to think that JL is at LSU because he has the talent to be. But, wasn't he (along with Hatch) quick pickups in order to fix the emergency QB situation once RP starting having trouble; unlike JJ who went through the recruiting process?
Were we ever REALLY after Hatch and Lee as prospects because we thought they had SEC-caliber talent, or because we needed depth at the QB position, QUICK?
