LSU - 1 RB's - 1-4*
Miami - 5 RB's - 1-5*, 2-4*, 2-3*
Oregon - 6 RB's 1-5*, 2-4*, 2-3*, 1-2*

1st Choice should be to Oregon to play against the pansy Pac-10.
2nd Choice- LSU only 1 running back to compete aginst after KW and CS leave.
3rd Miami....too many running backs.

I thought Ridley was recruited as a fullback. He was listed as an Athlete on rivals I believe.

We'll have Ridley, Ford, and isnt Murphy just a junior this year? I dont think Ridley will play FB, I think that guy we just signed will play there pretty quick.

I think ridley is going to take over the load at RB after KW and CS leaves. If BB comes then I think he gets significant playing time because of his catching ability and MF redshrts

Why wouldn't Ford redshirt? Even CajunRocks thinks Ford will redshirt, unless he changed his mind. LSU has plenty of depth and NO NEED for Ford to play this year.

Ford will RS IMO. Scott's decision was the make or break for Ford's RS. Scott leaves, Ford plays this year. Scott staying and Ford is a RS. Why would Ford not RS with Scott, KW, Murphy, and Ridley all ahead of him? Next year he is a RS Frosh only behind Murphy and Ridley.

Ridley is a stud and will be the #2 back before the end of 2009 season. He will leapfrog Keiland.

Don't sell Murphy short.
He can do lots of things well.

I think there is about a 50 percent chance MF will redshirt. If one of the two, Scott or Williams, should suffer an injury this season, no way MF redshirts.

The only way MF doesn't redshirt is if either CS or KW has a major injury. I would go so far as to say the same thing for BB if he ends up here . I don't think either MF or BB would see playing time with CS,KW,RM and SR ahead of them. Also figure Holiday in the mix for some playing time.

Miles would be stupid to burn Ford's redshirt and Miles isn't stupid. This isn't even a close call.

You are refering to the past Three years in which LSU won a BCS championship.

With LSU's offense, a great RB would be showcased in BCS bowls, which neigther Miami nor Oregon can do for him.
