this used to be one of the best weekends of the year. jazz fest and draft. beer bbq and huddling around a radio to see what the picks would be

I used to love it when it was quiet and more business like. I loved the element of surprise, and not coaches and agents calling the player way before the pick. So much hoopla and fanfare now.

Years ago we used to wake up in the morning and get the paper and see that the Saints drafted someone like Les Kelly.
