LSU was 1 strike away from winning that game tonight. What an absolutely brutal loss, and probably the nail in the coffin on this season...brutal.

Let's hope they can pick themselves up tomorrow

Yea that was off of Garcia, who actually pitched well over his couple of innings, but it should have never come down to that base hit in the bottom of the ninth. That came soon after the infamous botched double play

2 runs for MSU were scored tonight because we didn't have a foot on 2nd. One by Ruckert after caraway threw him off the bag, and the one by Milam. Literally the definition of "game of inches"

But that's fundamental baseball. We learned how to correctly execute those plays in grade school. Here you have infielders making millions that don't know the difference between a basepad and a high jump bar

I knew Cowan would give up a homer.

It seems that if any little thing can go wrong, it’s always going to happen to this LSU team. The stuff that has plagued and prevented LSU from wins this year is mind boggling and something I don’t think I’ve ever seen with any other LSU baseball team. I mean I’m not a big believer in curses but my gosh this team definitely seems cursed.

Yeah and we’ve been one strike away before. Is what it is. This group of young players is gaining some good experience

We really should be blaming Guidry. He is garbage and the fact that Jay started him is unbelievable. We start Cowan, I bet it’s 7-1 going into 4th/5th, and we could’ve used Sheeran and Garcia for the rest of the game. Guidry better get his resume ready and apply to MMR bc he has no future in baseball.

Coffin was nailed almost a month ago, by Bethune Cookman of all schools

There is another saying, all it takes is one swing of the bat.
This game really hurt!

This is on Jay. He should know Gavin's limit by now. It's somewhere around 7 batters or 50 pitches, whichever comes first.

Guidry gave up a 2-out, 2 strike, 2-run homer in the first inning. Did you even watch?

This is true! My son and I say that to each other all the time! It's one of the beautiful things about baseball.

Last night it was one swing for MSU that decided it. Tough tough way to "snatch defeat from the jaws of victory"
