You act like it's been bad luck when in reality it's been bad baseball. Can't turn a failrly routine dbl play when we need it, way too many errors, wild pitches and walks all year. We've beaten ourselves consistently this season.

That was never the rule. The rule was always you have to touch the base. Obviously. Now, is that how umps used to probably call it? Yeah. But not with replay. Replay can overturn it, but also umps get judged on that stuff, so they’re paying more attention to get the original call exactly right, so it doesn’t get overturned.
