Anyone confirmed an accuracy issue with their range finder?

The last few times I've played with my pals, we are pretty consistenly getting 2 different readings, many times a full club length's distance. Both shooting the flag, both utilizing slope...we're talking about the 140-150 yard range, not some 500 yard par 5.

Have yall tried taking the slope setting off then shooting the same target??

Maybe one of them is calculating the slope incorrectly??

Seems kinda odd for them to be off that greatly.. 1-2 yards sure.. But if we're talking 10+ there's an issue with one of them

Have you checked to see if one of your rangefinders got switched to meters? I played a whole round that felt off. I realized on the 16th hole that it had gotten switched to meters by my 4 year old playing with it the last time I was out there.

it isn't your range finder. You just don't hit it as far as you think you do.

JEEZ!

I hope I'm not overestimating my ability to carry my 7i 135!

We actually shot a par 3 side by side last week, confirmed that both were in yards, both utilizing slope. One of ours showed 148, the other 141 to the flag.

Turn off slope. They may use different algorithms to calculate slope. I wouldn’t expect them to be that far off, but measuring without slope is the best way to compare accuracy.

I left my Bushnell at oakwing last year and they "O yea we see it right here we'll send it to you." They sent me a Red Tiger new in the box as a replacement

Mine has always been very close to the people I play with distance. Within a yard or two. But I don't trust the slope on it so i don't use the slope function.

My range finder puts both regular distance and slope distance on my screen.

I know I hate when my buddy says it’s 143 and it’s really 141. Sucks man!

My buddy thought his was off and I told him let me see it and it was on meters not yards. He played about 5/6 rounds with it that way. He’s a retard.
