Which portal guy is the biggest disappointment?

Believe it or not, I think it's Simpson, not Yorke.

But he has produced some in the SEC. Simpson has one HR against Northwestern State.

One from grand canyon, from high point and many others with stats that wouldnt hold up im the sec. Dardar is the biggest cause he actually played against big 12 comp. Smdh. Most of those stats from all of them were against garbage can schools. The wold thing is the "coaches" believed this bullshite and recruited them.

94 at bats to 34 at bats. I’d sure hope DarDar has produced more he’s hit 3 times as many times.

Dardar was at least a key part of winning multiple games, and as far as I can recall, has played about as well defensively as any told the other 2B options (which is not saying much).

Dardar, Yorke, Carraway, and Simpson have no business playing in the SEC.

DarDar, Simpson, and Caraway were all expected to be big. Caraway was one of the highest rated in the portal. Dar was all conference selection. I wouldn't mind if Jay told them all to hit the road after this season and just reset the roster.

You recruit based off of traits and ability. Yorke was an elite bat to ball guy with elite strike zone discipline. He tried too hard to be a power guy here and it didn't work out.
Simpson was always going to have swing and miss. I don't care if it's high school baseball. If you hit 30 HR in a season, you expect SOME translation in the SEC. It didn't happen. Oh well.

Simpson or Dardar.
People forget that Simpson had a year at High Point last year similar to Dickinson at Utah Valley. Honestly, though, Simpson hasn't had the same opportunities as the others. He still hasn't produced.

I was always skeptical of Carraway. Most of his production came over the span of two weeks last season. I don't hate taking the chance, but yeah he's been a massive bust coming out of HS.
